From there, we help you plan every flowery detail of your perfect day. From mood boards and creating a custom proposal, to special floral installations and rentals (like arches and pedestals), to vessel selection, and even candles- we handle all of the details so you don't have to.

Our Story

Palmetto Bloom began in Charleston with a love of flowers and gathering around beautiful spaces. When owner and creative director Colleen Purdy Tangeman took the helm, she brought a lifelong interest in gardening and landscape design to the studio, shaping an approach to floral design that feels natural, considered and connected to its surroundings. Today, the studio specializes in weddings and events that feel intentional and distinctly personal. Inspired by gardens, natural landscapes and the relaxed beauty of the Lowcountry, our designs complement their setting while remaining fresh, classic and timeless.
